The rural nature of the community is further typified by the presence of several horse farms and stables which are widely respected for their breeding and training. Industry, although limited, is characterized by quality craftsmanship and advanced engineering. Of note are such manufacturers as Whiting and Davis, of longstanding international renown, and MediaLogic, a firm on the cutting edge of computer technology. Plainville Mass is located in Southeastern Massachusetts, bordered by Wrentham on the north; Foxborough on the east; Mansfield on the southeast; North Attleborough on the south; and Cumberland, Rhode Island, on the west. Plainville is 28 miles north of Fall River; 31 miles southwest of Boston. |
